Elephant Nature Park (ENP) is a pioneer in ethical elephant tourism, offering a safe home to giants rescued from the logging and trekking industries. As a volunteer, you will live on-site and support the sanctuary's mission while eating incredible 100% vegan Thai food and witnessing elephants living as naturally as possible in their herds.

What to Expect

This is a busy, physical, and highly rewarding week of service in a tropical paradise:

• Food Preparation: Elephants eat a massive amount of food. You will spend hours washing, peeling, and prepping mountains of watermelons, pumpkins, and bananas.

• Sanctuary Maintenance: Help with the daily upkeep of the enclosures, cleaning the park, and assisting with reforestation projects to improve the elephants' habitat.

• Observational Learning: Follow the herds at a safe distance as they forage and play in the river, learning about their social structures from expert mahouts.

• Dog & Cat Rescue: ENP is also home to hundreds of rescued dogs and cats; volunteers often spend time walking dogs or helping in the "Cat Kingdom."

• World-Class Vegan Buffets: Enjoy three massive, all-you-can-eat vegan Thai buffets daily, which are widely considered some of the best food in the region.
